Because of some problems other members have had, we decided to make a little tutorial about the toplist:

System of this (and of other toplists):
You can sign into this toplist as a member. Then you will get information, on how to put a vote method into your website. After you have installed one of these methods, visitors will be able to vote for your site in the Jackass-Top100.com toplist.
For every vote for your site, you will get 1 vote more in the toplist. These votes are called (Hit-)Ins. The more HitIns you have, the higher your site will be shown in the toplist. That means, that you will be likely to get more visitors, because people visiting the Jackass-Top100 toplist will see your site earlier than others, the higher it is. If a visitor clicks on your site in the toplist, he or she is directed to your site. The click he did is also counted and is being shown as a (Hit-)Out. So you can see, how many people have clicked on your site in the toplist.
Note that the HitOuts have no influence on your ranking in the toplist; it is just some information for yourself..

One more thing is integrated: The Reset.
At the moment, the toplist is being reset once every 3 days. That means that after 3 days, all HitIns and HitOuts are deleted and every member of the toplist has to get votes for his site again. This system prevents websites from being ranked very high in the toplist without getting regular votes.
e.g.: If a site was very popular in the month of April this year and got a million visitors, then the site would be on the 1st rank all the time, even if they were no longer famous and did no more vids etc. It would be unfair to other sites, which signed in later, because they would have to wait very long untill they could rise in the toplist.

Q.: Why doesn't my site appear in the toplist?
You have got a code for 3 vote methods, which you have to put into your website. If you have already done that, a vote from your site is being counted from the toplist! But, of course, you only appear in the toplist, if you made at least 1 HitIn within 3 days (which is the reset period, as described above). If you didn't get a HitIn within 3 days, you won't appear in the toplist either. So if you always want to appear in the toplist, you have to make at least ONE HitIn within 3 days!

Q.: What is that code I got after the registration for?
It is a normal HTML code, which you have to put into your website - just like other html codes like Links (<a href="...) or pictures(<img src="...). You can choose between a PopUp window, a vote button or an iFrame. [you are also allowed to use a text link - so if you have more experience, you can make one on your own]

Q.: Is it possible to use the old vote button?
